Iowa Went For Obama; Here's How Urbandale Voted

As people across the country are digesting the results of yesterday's general election, local voters can see the breakdown of votes right here in Urbandale.
While , voters in Urbandale supported Republican candidate Mitt Romney - a continued show of support from the January Caucus in Urbandale.
Urbandale voters at seven precincts supported Obama, while only four precincts, 4, 7, 10 and 11, carried support for Romney. However, those precincts carried Romney by, at times, hundreds of votes.

The portion of Urbandale in Dallas County overwhelmingly supported the Republican ticket when it came to the presidential election. All three precincts supported Romney/Ryan.
The results were similiar to that of 2008, when Polk County and Iowa supported Obama/Biden, while Urbandale voters chose McCain/Palin.
