J-Hawks Close Regular Season Tonight, Look To Playoffs

The J-Hawks will close out the regular season tonight in Council Bluffs.

Urbandale (6-2) will look to end the season with a victory over Council Bluffs Thomas Jefferson, bringing its division record to 3-2.

Last week, the J-Hawks defeated Indianola 63-28 for senior night in Urbandale.

The Yellow Jackets (3-5) are coming off a 45-7 loss to West Des Moines Valley last weekend. They are looking for their first win in divisional play this year.
Friday's game begins at 7:30 p.m.

The J-Hawks have already secured a trip to playoffs. Their opponent will either be Johnston or Ames, to be determined after Friday's football games.

The first round of playoffs will be at 7 p.m. Oct. 24.
