J-Hawks Travel to Sioux City East For Thursday Night Game

The Urbandale J-Hawks travel to Sioux City East tonight in a rare Thursday varsity game.

The J-Hawks (5-1) face the Black Raiders, who are also 5-1 in play this year.

Urbandale fell to West Des Moines Valley 28-25 last week.

The game, which took place at Valley Stadium, was the J-Hawks first loss in Division 1 play.

According to J-Hawks.com, Urbandale trailed 28-10 with just under six minutes left in the game.

The team rallied to score 15 point in a 90-second time span. 

Sioux City East beat Indianola 43-0 last week.

The game is at 7:30 p.m. at Edwin Olsen Stadium.
