Living History Farms to Party With Members, Donors and Volunteers

The Urbandale agricultural museum is hosting an appreciation party Saturday for everyone that helps make the site a great place to visit.

Living History Farms members, donors and volunteers will be honored from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 4, as the season kicks off with a free pie social in the spring air of the picnic shelter.

Top your pie with homemade ice cream, and watch as cream is churned with a belt-driven 1945 John Deere tractor engine.
