Participants work with an Urbandale Police Detective and an Urbandale Police Officer. Participants are taught criminal investigative techniques to help solve a mock crime.
They will view a burglary and process fingerprints and other evidence found at the crime scene. They will get to work in the police lab to compare prints and to dust for fingerprints! The class also includes touring the police station and a light treat and juice.
We will have a waiting list for non-Urbandale residents.
Please contact Officer Randy Peterson at 515-331-6804 or via e-mail at rpeterson@urbandale.org to get your child enrolled.
