Remember the Mess that was Imagination Station? One Year Ago on Urbandale Patch

Here's something a lot of employees and parents might rather forget -- if not for the rebirth of the day care center that caused them so many problems one year ago.

: A sign on the door to  said the center would be closed for the rest of the week "due to a walkout yesterday."

The sign directed parents to take their children "to the Jordan Creek location." The company's website does not list a second location, but it lists two mailing addresses, the center location in Urbandale and 720 S. 68th St. in West Des Moines.

From there, things got only worse until the center closed.

But now flash forward: The , an award-winning provider of Christian academic excellence since 1999, has been enrolling students at its state-of-the-art childcare center in Urbandale.

The remodeled 16,000-square-foot space at 2955 86th St. near Interstate 80 uses the space that housed Imagination and Education Station.
