Seminar to Help Business Leaders Learn How to Better Manage Employees

Have an employee you can seem to deal with? Want to learn how to better manage your employees in general?

The Urbandale Chamber of Commerce is hosting a seminar on May 3 led by Glenn Shepard, author of "How to Manage Problem Employees." The seminar will be Holiday Inn Express, 8789 Plum Dr., from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Topics that will be covered at the seminar include how to fire without fear, how to tame toxic employees and put your team on the fast-track to success.

Shepard will also cover how to stop gossip, insubordination, backstabbing and other unacceptable behavior in your company, where to find people who really want to work, and how to motivate your team.
