Sen. Tom Harkin Campaigns for President Obama in Urbandale Today

Sen. Tom Harkin is coming to Urbandale today.

The long-time Iowa senator will be at the Urban Grill to campaign for President Barack Obama just 15 days before the 2012 election.

Harkin plans to highlight the stark contrast between Obama and Republican nominee Mitt Romney's plans for Iowans.

"Senator Harkin will highlight what the president has accomplished over the last four years to rebuild our economy and restore middle class security, and his specific plans for the next four years to continue moving our country forward," a press release from Obama for America-Iowa stated.

Monday's event begins at 5:20 p.m. at Urbandale Grill, 3651 86th St.
