Shoplifting, Other Charges Fill Urbandale Police Blotter

The Urbandale police reports below are preliminary criminal charges. They do not represent convictions or court resolutions. 

Oct. 18

Matthew David Avaux, 24, of Urbandale, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief.

Kathy Diana Brown, 38, of Des Moines, was charged with fifth-degree theft for shoplifting.

Yancey Diez Granillo, 32, of Des Moines, was charged with operating a vehicle while barred.

Kristina Nicole Jennex, 20, of Windsor Heights, was charged with third-degree theft.

William Raymond McHenry, 22, of Windsor Heights, was charged with second-degree theft.

Christine Ann Sorter, 38, of Des Moines, was charged with fifth-degree theft for shoplifting.
