Thefts, Harassment Charges Make Up Arrests: Urbandale Police Blotter

The Urbandale police reports below are preliminary criminal charges. They do not represent convictions or court resolutions. 

Sept. 17

Donald Harold Wentzel, 50, of Des Moines, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sept. 19

Jerry Franklin Chitwood, 53, of Fort Wayne, IN, was charged with public intoxication.

Carter Chase Shireman, 21, of Clive, was charged with third-degree theft from Living History Farms.

Sept. 20

Ralph Richard Johnson, 43, of Des Moines, was charged with third-degree harassment.

Joshua James Prine, 20, of Polk City, was charged with third-degree theft from Living History Farms.

Sept. 21

Khoa Dang Luu, 24, of Des Moines, was charged with third-degree harassment.

Donell Kay Roth, 69, of Granger, was charged with third-degree theft for shoplifting.

William Lloyd Sandstrom, 23, of Des Moines, was charged with public intoxication and interference with official acts.

Sept. 22

Javon Kaprae Cason, 18, of Des Moines, was charged with driving with a suspended license.

Leonardo Ramon Castro Mantalvan, 42, of Des Moines, was charged with fifth-degree theft for shoplifting.
