Two Men Charged in Connection to Urbandale Home Invasion

Two men have been charged for their connection to a home invasion that occurred in Urbandale last Friday.

Zackary Amadeo, 19, and Michael Jensen, 24, both of Des Moines, were arrested and charged for allegedly breaking into a home located in the 12000 block of Cardinal Lane, according to a press release issued by the Urbandale Police Department.

Amadeo is charged with second-degree burglary, a Class C felony, while Jensen is charged with aiding and abetting, as well as possession of crack cocaine.

Police responded to the Urbandale home after the woman who lived there went to a neighbor's house to call them. She told police she confronted the person who broke into her home, WHO Channel 13 reported.

Police later located a vehicle matching the description of one placed at the scene.
