Urbandale Apartment Fire Damages Deck

Several area fire departments joined the Urbandale Fire Department in responding to a fire Wednesday night at an Urbandale apartment, the Des Moines Register reports.

The fire was contained to a third-floor deck in an apartment complex in the 6800 block of Holcomb Avenue, Lt. Dan Birkett with the Urbandale Fire Department told the newspaper.

There were no injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Clive and Windsor Heights fire department crews also responded to the call.
