Schools, like most organizations, have engaged in strategic planning processes for many years. In UCSD, we are proud of how our strategic planning processes have evolved and improved over time to create a system that is more aligned, focused on improvement, and integrated in a systems approach and culture of collaboration. UCSD’s annual improvement goals and strategic actions cascade to building and department goals and strategic actions through our annual strategic improvement planning process. These cascading goals and plans help ensure our system stays aligned in our work.
