Urbandale Council to Discuss New Casey's General Store, Community Betterment Grant Application

Plans for a new Casey's General Store in Urbandale will be reviewed by the City Council tonight.

Plans for the store, which would be located at 3750 111th St., would include 4,360 square feet with 7,524 square feet canopy over eight fueling stations.

The council will also consider the submission of an application for the Prairie Meadows Community Betterment Grant.

The application seeks to received a grant for the Making a Connection (MAC) Program.

Other agenda items include:

• Consider a 28E agreement for the 100th Street and 54th Avenue Intersection Project with Johnston and Grimes.
• Consider urban chickens and other urban livestock
• Conduct a public hearing for the police station geothermal conversion
