Urbandale Fire Department Called to Pallet Recyclers

Crews were called to the business Monday night, according to WHOTV.com. No injuries were reported.

Crews from the Urbandale Fire Department were called to  at 7 p.m. Monday, according to WHO-TV.

Smoke was billowing from a building filled with old pallets on the property at 11045 Meredith Drive.

Firefighters were kept outside because of the risk of the fire spreading quickly in the piles of dry wood, the TV station reported. But they had been called to a fire at the building before, and they knew just how to get it under control.
