An Urbandale man suffered a fractured knee and multiple deep cuts after someone attacked him with a glass boot during a fight at a Des Moines bar this weekend, the Des Moines Register reported.
According to police reports published by the Register, Justin Boyd, 29, was with his wife at Hessen Haus, 101 Fourth St., Saturday night. She sat on the bar’s patio while he went to the restroom inside, police said.
