Urbandale Offers Free Leaf Drop-Off Site for Residents
Want to get rid of the leaves piling up in your yard at no cost? The city of Urbandale offers you a way to do that.
Urbandale residents may drop off leaves at no cost at the Urbandale Public Works Facility, 9401 Hickman Road, on Saturdays from Oct. 27 through Nov. 17.
Bring your leaves in any paper yard waste bag between 8 a.m. and noon. Containers and plastic bags will also be allowed as long as the yard waste is emptied from the container or bag at the site, according to the city's website.
Please bring identification as checks will take place to make sure only Urbandale residents are utilizing the free service.
