Urbandale Parks and Rec Fall Program Guide Released Today
Learn to skate, use the computer or improve your health through fall Urbandale Parks and Recreation programs. Signup starts today.

The fall 2012 edition of the program guide is available beginning today, Aug. 14.
The 44-page guide features classes and activities for youth, adults and senior citizens ranging from arts, crafts and computers to music, nature, health and fitness.

• Learn to Skate! Classes available at all levels for kids ages 3-6 who want to learn to ice skate or improve upon current skills. Metro Ice Small and Tall “Learn To Skate is an introduction for both parent and child (ages 4-6) to ice skating with a Certified United States Figure Skating Association instructor.
• Digital Pictures From your Camera to your PC will focus on moving digital pictures from your camera to the computer.
• Adult Learn to Skate is designed for beginner adult skaters in promoting physical fitness, balance and coordination, while learning proper skating techniques.
• The Urbandale Senior Center continues its popular senior programming, including three themed trips to central Iowa communities.
In addition to the Aug. 14 insert in the Urbandale Register, printed copies are available at Urbandale’s Parks and Recreation office, Public Library, Senior Center and Public Pool.
