The police department is looking for the feline and its owners. Meanwhile, the victims have begun rabies shots.

Urbandale Police have asked for the public's help in locating a black cat -- and its owner -- because authorities believe the feline has bitten two people.
A police department news release says a black cat wearing a pink collar has bitten two people this week in the downtown Urbandale area.
Sgt. Gary Lang said the bites took place in the area of 69th Street and Douglas Avenue. One victim was a juvenile, the other in their 20s.

Because the animal has not been found, the bite victims have begun undergoing rabies shots, Lang said.
