Owner Sandy Taylor helped a couple from Johnston purchased a white orchid corsage and matching boutonniere for the prom.

“They enjoyed it,” said Taylor. “They walked around and sampled the food.”
Urbandale vendors were sprinkled throughout the shop, which is located at 6656 Douglas Ave.

“Smokey eyes with nude lips are really in this season,” said Heather Kasper, a massage therapist and esthetician at Revive Spa, who displayed makeup.
The look, she said, was made popular by Kim kardashian.
Decorated cookies and cute cupcakes tempted those who passed by Dana Schaub, co-owner of The Devilish Pig Bakery.
“It’s never too early to get a bakery booked for graduation cakes,” she said.
Terri Strobl, owner of Salon 68, said up-do’s are popular hairstyle for prom.
“I like to do them with lots of curls and accessories,” she said.
