Violation of a No-Contact Order, Other Charges Fill Urbandale Police Blotter

Drug and theft charges are also in today's Urbandale Police Department blotter.

The Urbandale police reports below are preliminary criminal charges. They do not represent convictions or court resolutions.

Oct. 29

Damen Michael Marschel, 20, of Des Moines, was charged with possession of marijuana.

Kyle James Schlatter, 22, of West Des Moines, was charged with second-degree theft.

Vernon James Schuessler, 55, of Elkhart, was charged with two counts of violation of a no-contact order.

Oct. 30

Malik Hakim Saadiq, 25, of Des Moines, was charged with obstruction of emergency communication.
