AHeinz57 Pet Rescue and Transport will host its annual charity golf outing “Putts Fore Mutts” on Saturday May 17 at Terrace Hills Golf Course in Altoona, located just minutes from Prairie Meadows. Participants will enjoy 18 holes of golf with cart and green fees, hospitality gifts, and lunch. Adoptable dogs will be on the course for meet and greet opportunities and hole contests include “hair of the dog” and “putting in the poo”. Silent auction prizes include 2 four person VIP vouchers to the Iowa Speedway valued at $500.00 and $600.00. Proceeds benefit homeless, injured and abused dogs throughout Iowa.
