Arrest for OWI and Public Intoxication: Waukee Police Reports

May 11

Jessica Jones, 27, of 310 88th St., West Des Moines, was arrested at the intersection of Southeast University Avenue and Southeast Waco Place. She was charged with public intoxication.

May 12

Matthew Sullivan, 37, of 270 Gray Ave., Waukee, was arrested in the 100 block of North Warrior Lane and charged with OWI and cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.

A vehicle driven by Sarah Downard of 3510 S.W. 28th St., Des Moines, was westbound on Southeast University Avenue and stopped at a stop light at Boone Drive. Police said a vehicle driven by Andrew Hofman of 970 First St., Waukee, rear-ended Downard's vehicle. Damage was estimated at $900. Hofman was cited for failure to stop in an assured, clear distance.
