Arrest for Possession for Drug Paraphernalia: Waukee Police Blotter

Jan. 7

A Waukee woman reported vandalism to a washer at an apartment building in the 600 block of Second Street. A washer cord was damaged, estimated cost $50.

A 17-year-old from Urbandale was arrested in the 500 block of Southeast University Avenue and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Vehicles driven by Maxwell Hytone of Waukee and Nathan Gehring of Waukee were eastbound on the north side of Waukee High School. Because of icy road conditions, police said Hytone's vehicle slid into the westbound lane and was rear-ended by Gehring's vehicle. Damage was estimated at $3,000.

Michael Osborn of Waukee reported a tail light was broken on his vehicle while it was parked in the 700 block of Collins Drive. Damage was estimated at $50.

Jan. 10

A vehicle driven by Laurene Black of Jamaica, IA, was pulling out of a parking space in the 14200 block of Southeast University Avenue and scraped a legally parked vehicle. Damage was estimated at $800.
