Arrest Made for Alleged Violation of Protective Order, Domestic Assault: Waukee Police Blotter

Feb. 20
A vehicle driven by Elizabeth Miller of 2950 Timberline Drive, Waukee was westbound in the 500 block of Southeast University Avenue when Miller stopped at a stoplight. A vehicle driven by Cheryl Stacy of 25 Bel Aire Drive, Waukee, allegedly struck the rear of Miller's vehicle. Damage was estimated at $8,000. Stacy was cited for failure to stop in an assured clear distance.

Lourdes Britto, 62, of 325 Terrace Drive, Waukee, was arrested in the 300 block of Terrace Drive and charged with domestic assault and violation of a protective order.

Kenny Mitchell of Waukee reported the theft of a license plate in the 500 block of Southeast University Avenue.
