Jan. 21
A vehicle driven by Larry Owens of Creston was backing out of a parking space in the 700 block of Ashworth Drive and reportedly struck a legally parked vehicle across the street. Damage was estimated at $1,400.

Jan. 22
Kurtis Robinson, 56, of Des Moines, was arrested at the intersection of Southeast Boone Drive and Southeast Olson Drive. He was charged with driving while his license is suspended and cited for failure to obey a stop sign.

Jan. 23
A 16-year-old Waukee boy was arrested in the 500 block of Southeast University Avenue and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
