Arrests for Drugs, Violation of No-Contact Order: Waukee Police Blotter

Jan. 17

Justin Venard, 33, of Mason City, was arrested by the Des Moines Police Department on a Waukee warrant for violation of a no-contact order.

Allegra Davies, 18, of West Des Moines, was arrested in the 500 block of Southeast University Avenue and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Kymberlyn Walters, 21, of Clive, was arrested in the 1900 block of Southeast University Avenue and charged with simple assault.

A vehicle driven by Dallas Brickman of Adel was westbound on Hickman Road at the intersection of Warrior Lane when Brickman lost control of the vehicle because of brake problems. The vehicle overturned, there were no injuries. Damage was estimated at $7,500.

A vehicle driven by Kathryn Sedars of Adel was westbound in the 100 block of Ashworth Drive when a vehicle driven by Ream Mohamed Hamad of West Des Moines struck the rear of Sedars' vehicle. Hamad was cited for failure to maintain control. Damage was estimated at $400.
