Yummy Swedish meatballs, amazing desserts and mouth-watering barbecue were among the offerings Thursday at the first What's Cookin' in Waukee business expo and tasting experience.
The event was organized by the Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce and held at the Waukee Prairieview Commons, 655 S.E. University Ave.
Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce member businesses had booths highlighting what is going on within their business, and provided food tastings.

, said 240 guests attended the event. She thanked the Chamber’s What’s Cookin’ Planning Committee, Waukee Community Schools for their staff assistance and use of Prairieview Commons and all volunteers who helped with event details.
