Great Beginnings for Families is a series of workshops for parents of infants, toddlers, and preschool age children. This program will help parents provide the foundation they need to create a healthy family environment and get children off to a great start.  Parents will learn about how children grow and develop, positive discipline, helping children cope with anger & conflict, encouraging learning through play, and building strong families.

Great Beginnings for Families is taught by ISU Extension and Outreach Families Educator Lisa Mickelson. The workshops will be offered at the Waukee Family YMCA on Wednesdays from 9:30 - 10:45 am beginning April 17th and running through May 15th.
