Waukee After Prom: Thanks to Volunteers and Donors; Decoration Items Needed

Waukee After Prom is coming up fast. It's just seven days away - on April 27.

Many thanks to the dozens of volunteers who have been working so hard for the past few months to plan and put this awesome event together.

Special thanks also to the dozens of businesses, organizations, and individuals who have generously donated to the event through financial and in-kind contributions. Look for a full list in the near future.

Wow, there are some truly awesome people in this community. This collective group of people genuinely cares and steps up to make things happen.

The After Prom Committee is still looking for a few final decoration items, including tall ornamental grasses and tall tree branches. If you have either of these items to spare and would like to donate them, please email waukeeafterprom@yahoo.com. The committee will make arrangements to pick them up.

Also, the committee needs a few more parents of juniors and seniors to work at the event. Email waukeeafterprom@yahoo.com if you are interested. It's going to be a fun night for all!
