Waukee High School Vocal Music proudly Presents the 3rd Annual “Festival of Peace”

Waukee High School Vocal Music proudly presents the 3^rd Annual “Festival of Peace” December 14 at 7 p.m. and December 15 at 2:30 p.m. The event features 9^th Grade Chorus, 10^th Chorale, Intermezzo, A Cappella, String Ensemble, Brass Ensemble, Children’s Chorus.

Families are invited to attend an evening of celebration and tranquility.  This event is modeled after the “festival of choirs” at notable colleges such as St. Olaf, Luther and Concordia, all of which carry tremendous music programs. The concert will feature a combination of poetic readings and reflection, audience “carol” sing as well as musical interludes by our guest symphony string and brass ensembles.

The auditorium and commons of the high school will be decorated to reflect the seasonal nature of the musical presentation.  There will be refreshments served during intermission compliments of the Vocal Music Boosters.
