Car Accidents Fill Waukee Police Blotter
A driver tapped another vehicle in one case, in another strong winds were to blame. Check out today's Waukee police reports.

March 4
A vehicle driven by Peggy Forret of 30503 T Ave., Adel, was westbound on Hickman Road when it stopped for a stoplight at the intersection with Warrior Lane. A vehicle driven by Karen Dluhos of 960 Maple St., Waukee, was westbound on Hickman and also stopped at the light. Police said Dluhos' vehicle bumped into Forrett's vehicle. There was no damage.

March 5
A vehicle driven by David John of 32033 Skyridge Drive, Waukee, was southbound in the 3300 block of Ute Avenue when a vehicle turned in front of him. Police said John swerved to avoid a collision and his vehicle went into the ditch. Damage was estimated at $1,400.

A vehicle driven by Connor Mullen of 19001 220th St., Minburn, was eastbound in the north lane of Hickman Road when the wind pushed his vehicle. Police said Mullen tried to fight the wind, lost control and went into the ditch. Damage was estimated at $1,500.
