Chamber Plans First What's Cookin' in Waukee Event
The Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce has a new event planned for spring: What's Cookin' in Waukee. The event is a mix of a food tasting and business expo.

Residents can learn more about local businesses, while sampling some tasty food, during a new event planned by the Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce.
The first What's Cookin' in Waukee event will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 4, at the Prairieview Commons.

Waukee Chamber members will host exhibitor booths with business information and offer food tastings as well, said Chamber Executive Director Melinda Behn.
"The Waukee Chamber is excited to showcase what is going on in our community with Whatβs Cookinβ in Waukee, and to welcome all members and residents to come check it out and grab a bite to eat at the same time," Behn said.

Registration is open for businesses that want to have an exhibitor booth at the expo, givng them exposure to a large crowd of business people and local residents, Behn said. Exhibitors will receive 10 free tickets for employees and clients. Members can showcase their business or organizationβs information and offer a food tasting.Β
Groups interested in hosting a booth should complete the exhibitor registration form on the Chamber website and return it by March 22.Β
