City Of Waukee: Ashworth Road To Close In West Des Moines

The City of West Des Moines is closing Ashworth Road from 88th Street south of I-80 to 88th Street north of I-80 will be closed beginning at 6 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 16, so that crews can begin installing storm sewer under the existing roadway. The work, which will include pavement replacement, is expected to last 4 – 5 weeks, weather permitting. A signed detour will be in place, utilizing Grand Prairie Parkway, University Avenue and Jordan Creek Parkway. Please use caution when traveling in the area. See a map of the closure.
