A fashion loving, full-time Waukee mom, Malisa MacNab, has launched an online retail store that offers consumers the chance to buy cutting edge children’s apparel from leading designers from one central hub.

MiniJoops’ featured designers  include Beau Loves, Little Boogaweezin, Mini Rodini, Petitbo, Prefresh, RAYGUN, Thief&Bandit, Tiny Whales, Tutu Du Monde, and Wovenplay.

"I was constantly falling in love with unique children's apparel pieces via numerous online avenues,” MacNab said in a news release. “None of these designs were locally accessible and I was continuously recommending these finds to my international friends. I wanted to create a destination for unique fashion brands to streamline the online shopping experience."

And so the idea behind MiniJoops, which means "Small Kisses" in Laotian, was born.

MacNab prides her company on the foundation that its carried brands target a niche market: parents who are uninterested in the common fashions and styles found in their neighborhood clothing stores, and are looking for something varied, and unique.

MiniJoops featured designers already have some celebrity children fans. Jessica Alba's daughter Honor Warren is in love with her red tutu by Tutu Du Monde and Kourtney Kardashian's daughter Penelope has been spotted in a Tutu Du Monde headband.
