Driver Cited for Not Stopping, Causing Crash: Waukee Police Reports

April 4

Alvin Sneed, 48, of 1965 S.E. Florence Drive, Waukee, was arrested in the 1900 block of Southeast Florence Drive on a Dallas County warrant for failure to appear.

April 5

Matthew Kiley, 31, of 1811 46th St., Des Moines, was arrested in the 1100 block of Southeast University Avenue and charged with driving while barred. Kiley was cited for failure to use a seat belt.

A vehicle driven by Kelly Hampton of 1420 S.E. Sagewood Circle, Waukee, was northbound on Warrior Lane when a vehicle driven by Hannelore Auer of 827 Brightan Drive, Waukee, was westbound on Laurel Street. Police said Auer went through the stop sign and struck Hampton's vehicle. Damage was estimated at $8,500. Auer was cited for failue to obey a stop sign.
