Strengthening Families is a 7 week program that helps families with youth ages 10-14 to build strong relationships. Parents learn to use love and limits in guiding their youth, family communication, and problem-solving. Youth learn to set goals, understand & respond to stress, and practice skills to deal with peer pressure. Strengthening Families is offered on Sundays running Jan. 8 - Feb. 26. This program is offered FREE through Iowa State University Extension & Outreach and is supported by the Dallas County Children's Advocacy Council.
