Fight in Hallway of Waukee High School Brings Charges: Waukee Police Blotter

Feb. 8
Two 16-year-old boys, both from Waukee, were each charged with disorderly conduct following a fight in a hallway at Waukee High School.

Feb. 16
Travis Martin, 35, of 1152 Mapleleaf Lane, Waukee, was arrested in the 700 block of Dartmoor Drive and charged with public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Feb. 17
Joe Daugherty of Waukee reported a case of identity theft.
Feb. 18
A vehicle driven by David Chicken, 545 S.E. Prairie Park Lane, Waukee, was southbound in the 1300 block of Southeast L.A. Grant Parkway. As Chicken slowed to turn left, a vehicle driven by Bryce Hingst of 553 77th St., West Des Moines, rear-ended Chicken's vehicle. Damage was estimated at $13,000. Hingst was cited for failure to stop in an assured clear distance.
