Four-Car Accident Snarls Traffic: Waukee Police Reports

Vehicles driven by Cassidy Campbell of 15507 Douglas Parkway, Urbandale, Cheri Abbott-Fegenbush of 4806 150th St., Urbandale, and Mitch Priest of 730 S.E. Westbranch Drive, Waukee, were all northbound in the 700 block of Boone Drive. They slowed for traffic when a vehicle driven by Meredith Torvik of 15219 Hawthorn Court, Clive, reported rear-ended Priest's vehicle. Police said the impact pushed Priest's vehicle into Abbott-Fegenbush's vehicle and Campbell's vehicle. Total damage estimated at $4,000. Torvik was cited for failure to stop in an assured and clear distance.

An employee of Kum & Go, 400 Prairie Bluff Drive, reported the theft of fuel from the store. The loss was $46.15.
A 17-year-old Van Meter boy was arrested in the 100 block of North Warrior Lane and charged with interference with official acts.
