Grab And Go Meals In Waukee– December Progress Update

Six locations were setup across the district, providing Grab and Go meals to students and families. Meals were sent home for the weekend on Friday’s pickup.

“We think it’s important, especially at this time, to provide children with the meals they need for learning,” says Jeannie Allgood, Director of Nutrition Services at Waukee. “They are stressed out and we want to help them any way we can.

Starting Monday, December 14, Grab and Go meals will be offered in the bus lane at Waukee High School, M-F, 10:30-1:15.
