Have Coffee With Area Legislators on Saturday

The Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a coffee with local legislators this Saturday that is open to the public, according to the chamber website.

The coffee will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 2, in the Waukee City Council Chambers, 230 W. Hickman Road.

State Sen. Charles Schneider and State Rep. Rob Taylor will give residents an update on the legislative session so far and answer audience questions, the chamber said.

Coffee and doughnuts will be provided. There is no cost to attend, but please RSVP to www.waukeechamber.com/registration, or call 515-978-7115.

The final coffee of the session will be held April 6. The gatherings are sponsored by Bank Iowa.
