'Jersey Shore' Looks Part of Jersey Day At Waukee High School
Jersey Day is today's homecoming dressup theme. The fun continues tonight with the parade starting at 6 p.m. at the former Waukee Elementary building, 400 Locust St.
Waukee High School teachers and students are encouraged to dress up to show their school spirit during homecoming week. Today, Jersey Day took over the school, which included some looks from the MTV show "Jersey Shore." The schedule is as follows:
Monday: Dress to impress
Tuesday: Nerd day
Wednesday: "-Er" day--dress as your favorite person/thing that ends in -er.
Thursday: Jersey Day
Friday: WHS Spirit Day
