Legacy Sports Bar & Grill Is Local Hotspot for Watching Games

Who needs a 220-inch projection screen TV? Sports fans do.

So Legacy Sports Bar & Grill is the place to head to watch the Super Bowl, March Madness, just about any sports event that you want to see on its ginormous TV.

The family restaurant has been open for four years, offering a full bar and menu including wraps, steaks, pasta, burgers, appetizers and sandwiches.

Crystal Hallinan, bartender/server, said the most popular item on the menu is the Legacy Burger.

“It has barbecue sauce, cheese, onion rings and bacon,” Hallinan said.

Along with a large menu, Legacy Sports Bar & Grill has eight TVs and a 220-inch projection screen.

Hallinan said they play games on the 220-inch projection screen.

“It’s really busy when Iowa plays,” Hallinan said. “We play all the bowl games, Super Bowl and Iowa vs. Iowa State games.”

Legacy Sports Bar & Grill also offers different drink specials.

On Sunday $4 Bloody Mary, Monday $3 well drinks, Wednesday $4 domestic mugs (24 oz.), Thursday $3 domestic bottles or draws, Friday $3 well drinks and Saturday $8 domestic pitchers.

Legacy Sports Bar & Grill also offers a unique loyalty program. Using a card, every $1 spent equals one point. After getting 100 points, a $10 reward is loaded on the card. Every Tuesday points are worth double. The card can also be used as a gift card. If someone loads $20, they will receive a $5 reward and if someone loads $50 or more, a $15 award is given.
