Man Charged With OWI, Tampering With Ignition Control: Waukee Police Reports

April 26

Vehicles driven by Noveprett Nagra of 2015 S.E. Olson Drive, Waukee, and Karlie Seiler of 6155 Dakota Drive, West Des Moines, were both backing out of parking spaces in the 500 block of Southeast University Avenue. Police said the drivers rear-ended each other. Damage was estimated at $500.

April 27

Dalton Nagorski, 22, of 245 Gray Ave., Waukee, was arrested in the 800 block of Third Street and charged with third-offense OWI and tampering with an ignition interlock device. 

April 28

Michael Welsch, 32, of 7425 Wistful Vista Drive, West Des Moines, was arrested in the 600 block of Boone Drive and charged with OWI. Welsch was cited for a stop sign violation.

Julie Newburg of Waukee reported an attempted burglary and vandalism to a door, valued at $50.
