James Coons of Waukee reported the theft of vehicle batteries in the 100 block of North Sixth Street. The batteries were valued at $200.

May 6
A vehicle driven by Kimberly Buck of 1005 Maple St., Dallas Center, was northbound on North Warrior Lane close to Little Walnut Creek Drive. When Buck tried to adjust the vehicle she lost control and went into the ditch, rolling over. Damage was estimated at $5,000.

Brian Sprague of Waukee reported a fraud in the 100 block of Ashland Court.
