New Climbing Wall At Brookview Elementary Waukee Community School District
The Brookview Elementary PTO and the Waukee Community Schools Foundation provided support for the new wall.

It looks, sounds and feels like a normal elementary gym. But then there’s the far wall. The newest addition at Brookview Elementary School is a climbing wall for students to use in PE Class. The new rock wall at Brookview is home to climbers every single day, every single class.

“It’s just been fun to do something new and different. Even though its been a difficult year, we are just finding ways to keep them as safe as possible,” says Brookview PE Teacher Jamie Seiler. “Being able to sanitize things, it’s made me think outside of the box and some new and creative things to do.”
Creativity and PE class can be an awesome combination.

“I am having a lot of fun in PE. This is actually my first week back in PE so I’m really excited that I get to try this out,” says 5th Grader Finn Dohmen.
