New Waukee Police Officer Austin Gibbs Graduates From ILEA

The Waukee Police Department welcomed new Police Officer Austin Gibbs as he was sworn in at a reception held on Friday, Dec. 18, 2020 at the Waukee Community Center. Officer Gibbs is a recent graduate of the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy and will now work to complete his four month-long field training. Gibbs grew up in Boone and is a graduate of Buena Vista University (Criminal Justice). He previously worked at Woodward Academy.

Congrats and welcome to Waukee, Officer Gibbs! The Waukee Police Department is comprised of 26 sworn officers and three civilian staff members.
