Nominate Chamber Member of the Year, Reserve Seat for Annual Dinner
Do you know a Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce member who did a stand-out job in 2012? Nominate them for the group's Member of the Year Award.

The Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its 2013 annual dinner and silent auction on Jan. 27.
Members will celebrate the past year, highlight the Chamber's accomplishments, and award Member of the Year and Ambassador of the Year honors,Β according to the group's website.
In addition, the group will thank the president and outgoing board members, swear in the new board and look forward to the upcoming year.

Executive Director Melinda Behn said the chamber will accept nominations from members for the Member of the Year award. Those nominations will be presented to the board to vote on the top three candidates.
Nominees for the Member of the Year award must be a member of the Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce in good standing and demonstrate an active involvement in community betterment.

Ambassador of the Year is determined by point totals throughout the year. The Ambassador who participated in the most Chamber functions will be awarded at the dinner.Β
The dinner agenda is:Β 5 p.m. silent auction,Β 6 p.m. dinner and program,Β 7 p.m. awards, andΒ 7:30 p.m. keynote by Terry Rich of the Iowa Lottery.
For members, the cost is $50 per person before Jan. 18 or $60 after that date. For nonmembers, the cost is $60 per person before Jan. 18 and $70 after that date. Tables are $550 per table of 10.
