Patch Picks: Five Places to Worship

New to town and looking to join a church?  Regardless of your faith, practice, religion, or beliefs, there are lots of options for where to worship in the Waukee area.

1. : This Christian church focuses on prayer and serving others, through mission trips and a strong youth program.  Child care on site, and you can get involved through joining the choir, missionary programs, or study groups.  Located at 1155 S.E. Boone Drive.

2. : Located at 900 Warrior Lane, new faces are welcome at this Lutheran church, where they focus on worship and meaningful sermons.  You’ll hear a variety of music and can find children’s sermons here as well.  

3. : This Catholic church encourages its members to build a supportive community where they nurture values and spirituality.  Missionary programs, youth groups, child care, and music programs are all available.  Located at 1200 Warrior Lane.

4. : Here you can find both traditional and contemporary celebrations, along with Christian education.  Child care as well as summer camps are available as well.  Located at 650 Ashworth Drive.  

5. : This Mormon church located at 400 S.Ee Pleasantview Drive promotes service, missionary trips, lifelong learning, and strengthening families.  Child care and youth programs are offered, as well.
