It has pizza and chicken and a pretty mean all-you-can-eat buffet, but Waukee's Pizza Ranch is doing more than just feeding a community. It's reaching out, too.
The American Legion units of Waukee is hosting Tip Night to help support our military and veterans in addition to supporting our local community. One outreach of our own is Boys State/Girls State in which the Legion and the Legion Auxiliary is sending one boy and one girl to the respective leadership conference.
The American Legion Riders will also be on hand to help raise funds for their Wounded Warrior Project and Annual Toy Run.
